President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the establishment of the "cloud of government" (G-cloud) and the provision of "cloud services".
"Cloud Cloud" (G-cloud) will be created in the infrastructure of the Data Center of the Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies. The Ministry is appointed as the "Government Cloud" operator.
The Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies has the right to keep the state-owned, controlled and controlling state-owned entities, legal entities owned by the state, budget organizations, legal entities (hereinafter - government agencies) in the Data Center of State Information Systems and Resources, Government Data Clouds ", deployment of state information systems and resources in the Data Center, as well as management, maintenance and upgrading of" Government Clouds "to submit proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers over the calendar year and other issues.
Formation of "Electronic Government" has been provided to increase efficiency and effectiveness of public administration in Azerbaijan. At present state agencies are widely used by information systems and resources and electronic services created on their basis. Reducing costs in public administration and increasing coordination among state agencies through the creation, maintenance, maintenance and integration of state information systems and resources necessitates the creation of a "cloud of government" (G-cloud).
Security issues and information security will also be in the focus of the "Government Cloud".
